Library – Led the effort to enable free access for all county residents

Kerr County and City of Kerrville Relations – Resolved all open issues

Tax Rate – Held tax rate increase to five cents in five years, and increased the monetary reserve – a.k.a. “Rainy Day fund”

Center Point Sewer System - Began construction of the $50 million system for providing sewer service and eliminating septic systems for 900 properties

Economy – Increased high-paying jobs (560) in Pct. 2 at Mooney and James Avery

Emergency Medical Service (EMS) – Led effort for a first-class, county-wide EMS

Water Conservation – Promoted effluent water for irrigation, especially golf courses

Ag Barn - Improved the facilities and operations

Kerrville South Sewer System – Provided sewer service and eliminated septics to 200 properties

Camp Meeting Creek (Riverhill) – Improved from being the most polluted stream in TX

Emergency Management Coordinator (EMC) – Created the county EMC positon

Veteran Service Officer (VSO) – Created the county VSO position

Law Enforcement – Added deputy sheriffs and expanded and improved the jail

Center Point Sewer System – Secure $30M funding and complete the system

Gravel Pits - Assure the land is reclaimed to original or better conditions

Flood Warning System – Develop a county wide system with UGRA

Economic Development - Assure compatibility with existing unique qualities
